Originally from Ohio, Tracy is a proud Ohio State Buckeye fan.

Since completing his Master's at Hamline University in 2004, Mike has been a featured speaker across the upper Midwest, sharing expertise with parents, coaches, and administrators. Mike

With over 15 years in athletics, Max is renowned for developing throwing programs at schools like St. Bonaventure and El Camino Real Charter. As a Financial Advisor and Family Man, he emphasizes mentorship, urging athletes to focus on both education and personal passions. Beyond coaching, Max is a dedicated LA Dodgers and Rams fan, Iowa Hawkeye football enthusiast, and competes in triathlons.
Head Golf Coach
In 2001, John Guerrero began coaching a remarkable Mesa Community College women’s golf team that won the ACCAC and NJCAA Region I Titles 21 times, qualified for the NJCAA tournament 22 times, and held 10 top five finishes and 21 top 10 finishes at the NJCAA National Championships. For 20 years the MCC team was the top D2 team at Nationals. John received 21 ACCAC Coach of the Year awards and 22 student athletes have been All Americans, 52 have been All Conference, and 40 have been All Region. He was inducted into the NJCAA Women’s Golf Hall of Fame in 2014.
The Men’s Team has won four Region I Titles, qualified for the NJCAA National Tournament 15 times, had 10 top 5 finishes, 5 top 10 finishes, and won the 2017 NJCAA D2 National Championship. Student athletes have been awarded 17 All Americans, 29 All Conference, and 25 All Region. Generosity of spirit has been among the coach’s well-rounded life lessons, with the golf teams adopting families during the holidays, assisting in junior golf tournaments, running golf clinics for underprivileged youth, supporting Special Olympics golfers, and helping integrate golf into the elementary PE curriculum in Mesa schools. John continues to support more than 200 student athletes after they move on to universities and careers.
Assistant Golf Coach
Cali brings over 29 years of experience in education and coaching to her role as an assistant golf coach. She holds a bachelor's degree in physical education with a minor in coaching and a master's degree in education. Over the course of her career, Cali has coached in seven Minnesota State Golf Tournaments, leading teams to four AA State Championships, two runner-up finishes, and one third-place finish. She has also coached six individual state champions and has been named Minnesota AA Golf Coach of the Year four times. In recognition of her contributions to the sport, Cali was inducted into the Minnesota Golf Coaches Hall of Fame in 2019. Her teams have also received numerous academic awards. Beyond the golf course, Cali enjoys spending time with her family & friends, attending sports events, and leading the Detroit Lakes High School unified programming with support from Special Olympics Minnesota. She is a lifelong Minnesota Vikings fan and looks forward to the Masters Tournament every spring.
